I am a Belgian painter, born in 1962, working in Brussels.
I have painted Scotland extensively, a country that I fell in love with. I have been there three times.
After starting out as a landscape painter, I refocused on the human being.
During the Covid lockdown, I tackled portraits of actors and actresses.
Today I also paint genre scenes, which I prefer to call ‘conversations’.
Evocative without denying detail, I seek my path away from all extremes.
